Destiny 2's latest raid, The Deep Stone Crypt, is one of the franchises most complex and exhilarating raid's in a long time. The raid, like previous raid's, has weekly rotating challenges to give guardians one piece of extra loot for completing the weekly challenge. Below are the four challenges for the Deep Stone Crypt raid and how to complete them. It is also necessary to complete all four challenges to acquire the seal associated to the Deep Stone Crypt raid.
Rotating Weekly Challenges:
First Raid Encounter: Crypt Security - Red Rover Challenge
All players have to be operator during the encounter. All player's must shoot the two panels on lower level (This challenge requires three phases to complete, any less is not possible).
Second Raid Encounter: Atraks-1, Fallen Exo - Copies of Copies Challenge
Do not send any Debuffs into airlocks/space. This is one of the easier challenges in the raid as experienced operators can easily manage Debuffs with a decently coordinated fireteam.
Third Raid Encounter: Taniks, Reborn - Of All Trades
Each guardian must do all three roles (Operator, Scanner, and Suppressor). All players must complete a round in each role to make the challenge count. Releasing a role early will not count towards the challenge, causing the fireteam's challenge attempt to fail.
Fourth Encounter: Taniks, the Abomination - The Core Four
Guardians must dunk all four cores before DPS phases. This is the easiest challenge as it can be completed in one phase relative easily with a fireteam able to dish out enough DPS. To maximise DPS, make sure to have one fireteam member use the exotic weapon Divinity during the damage phase.
Those are the four rotating weekly challenges for Destiny 2's Deep Stone Crypt raid. Every week a new challenge will rotate into the raid, make sure to check which challenge is in rotation for that week before attempting the raid.
Good fortune guardian.
