No Man's Sky: Mass Effect's Normandy SR1 Arrives

No Man's Sky is taking part in a promotional event for the recently released Mass Effect Legendary Edition.

No Mans Sky Normady SR-1

No Mans Sky has been on a very long journey since it released in 2016, considered one of the most controversial game releases in the industry. This story of a massively failed launch has in the last couple of years become a tale of success, after a Hello Games has committed to updating and expanding the game since its launch. The game has evolved massively and is considered one of the best games out there in the survival game genre.

Hello Games recently announced out of the blue, the imminent arrival of the iconic SSV Normandy SR1 from the first Mass Effect game. Players of No Man's Sky can unlock the ship as a frigate. It is available only for a short time, so players are rushing to get the frigate before the deadline.

The Frigate class ship can be unlocked by completing Expedition Beachhead available from the multiplayer menu. The mission can be completed solo but it is recommended as a multiplayer mission and matchmaking only takes a couple of seconds, as everyone is trying to get their hands on the ship before the limited time expedition is gone. The SSV Normandy SR1 Frigate is an S-Class frigate making it one of the best Frigates in the game, which normally can cost astronomically high amounts of units to purchase.

Players have until the 31st of May to unlock the Iconic ship and add it to their collection. Once the expedition time limit ends, the SSV Normady SR1 will not be available to unlock in the game anymore, so make sure to put your space boots on and get the expedition done before then.

No Man's Sky: Origins Update is available now on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC
